What is Hola iOS Privacy VPN App?

The Hola iOS Privacy App allows you to keep your mobile web activities safe and private. Activate the Hola app to securely browse on WiFi (by encrypting all of your web traffic, thus avoiding password collection, identity theft, and more), to mask your IP address (to avoid identity theft and maintain privacy), and to control which countries you are browsing from (for another layer of anonymity and for faster secure access to the sites you use most).

Is Hola iOS Free?

Hola iOS can be used for a period of 7 days as free trial, after which you will need to purchase a premium account. Premium options cost $4.99 per month or $49.99 a year. These can be purchased as an in-app purchase or via the Apple iTunes store.

Please note:

• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription does not automatically renew at the end of the current period.
• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period.
• In-app payments through iTunes cannot be refunded.

Is it possible to pay for Hola Privacy VPN directly via the site?

No. the only way to purchase Hola iOS is via the in-app purchase or via the Apple iTunes store.

Which iOS version does Hola Privacy VPN support?

You need to be running iOS 6 or later.

How do I install Hola Privacy VPN?

Follow these steps to get the app:

1. Find the Hola Privacy VPN app in the app store on your iPhone or iPad;
2. Tap the blue “Free” button and then tap the green “Install” button that appears;
3. Enter your iTunes password and press ok.

How do I start using the app?

Open the app it by tapping on the Hola Privacy VPN icon. The first time you open it, you’ll be asked to enter your email address and password. You need to have an account to use Hola Privacy VPN so if you don’t have one, you can create one by following these steps:

1. Enter your email address and password;
2. Click the “Create free account” button;
3. You will be automatically transferred to the VPN Setup Instructions (installing a profile).

Why do I need to install a profile?

VPN allows you to browse from different countries, and installing a profile loads the most updated list of available servers (countries). You should typically choose the country at which the site you are accessing is located at to get the fastest access (otherwise longer routing times are incurred).

How do I install a profile?

After you’ve created an account for the first time you will be transferred to the VPN Setup instructions explanation page.

1. Read the instructions and click ‘OK, Let’s do it’ blue button.
2. The browser will now launch. When the page loads, scroll down to the bottom and click “I’m ready”.
3. You’ll be taken to a screen where you can install your profile.
4. Click the green “Install” button and then confirm by clicking “Install now”.
5. Your device will now ask you to enter your passcode, this is the same passcode you use to unlock your phone, go ahead and enter it.
6. After the code is entered, you’ll see a spinner start at the top of the screen while the profile is being installed. Once it’s finished, click “Done” in the upper-right corner.

How do I Switch on Hola Privacy VPN?

After installing the profile, if you see a rectangular VPN icon in the top right corner of your screen, you’re connected!

If not, during the setup, Hola added a few VPN control settings to your device. You need to go into the settings app on your iPhone and look for the VPN on/off button. Below the button you will see a long list of all available countries to browse the internet from. Choose a country and then switch on the VPN. It may take a few seconds to connect, and if you see a rectangular VPN icon in the top right corner of your screen, you’re connected!

How can I turn Hola off?

How do I uninstall Hola?

You can uninstall Hola Privacy VPN as follows:

1. Press and hold the Hola Privacy VPN icon until it will show an "X" icon in its upper-left corner.
2. Pressing the "X" in the upper-left corner of the application icon and your iPhone should prompt you with an "Are you sure?" message.
3. Press confirm to delete the app.

How do I uninstall Hola's profile?

You can uninstall Hola's Privacy VPN profile as follows:

1. Tap on the Settings icon.
2. Tap the General icon.
3. Tap Profile (Hola VPN).
4. Tap the red Remove button.
5. On the pop up message tap remove.
6. Enter Pin code if necessary.
