How to use the Hola?
Choose a country, and all traffic to/from your device will be encrypted and appear as if you are located in that country. Apps on your device will function as if you were physically in the country you selected.
We cannot provide support for a specific domain or service. Moreover, users must always comply with the terms of use.
To check the functionality of the service please visit IP location service and you will be able to see your IP is an IP of the country you selected.
Can I use my MacOS account on other devices?
Yes! You can use your account on PC, Mac, iOS, Android, gaming consoles and SmartTVs.
You can use your account on up to 10 (ten!) concurrent devices. In order to get the most out of your subscription, feel free to share your account with your friends and family.
Hola Premium does not collect any browsing information, so users cannot see each others’ browsing history.
- Desktop: Windows and Mac
- Mobile: Any iOS (these do not have to use the same AppleID!) and Android devices
- Smart TVs: Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic
- Gaming consoles: Sony PS4, Microsoft XBOX and others.

Is Hola MacOS free?
Hola MacOS can be used for a period of 3 days as free trial, after which you will need to purchase a Premium account. Premium account costs $11.95 per month or $83.88 a year, and are purchased through Apple's in-app purchase. You may also subscribe on your PC/Mac and use the same account on your iOS device — visit Hola Premium sign-up page.
If you sign up using the App Store, please note:
- You may use your account on up to 10 other devices, including iOS devices, desktop (PC/Mac), Android, SmartTV, gaming consoles etc. See Hola Premium Setup configuration page for details.
- Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at the purchase confirmation
- Subscription will automatically renew for a new period at the end of the current subscription period. You may cancel your subscription at any time.
- The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period
- Subscriptions are managed by the user by going to the user's Account Setting on the device after purchase (check out the cancellation instructions here)
- No refunds are allowed for subscription canceled during the active subscription period. Once canceled, the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
The device is asking me for authentication information, what is it?
This happens when you connect to the service, use the one-time password popping out from the bottom of your app
I can't get the Hola to connect, what should I do?
Make sure:
- You are connected to the internet
- Your subscription is still valid
- You are trying to connect using the Hola app, and not the Network section from the System Preferences window
Is it possible to pay for Hola directly via the site?
Yes. If you subscribe to Hola Premium on Hola Premium site, you will be able to use your account on up to 10 other devices as well.
Which MacOS versions does Hola support?
You need to be running MacOS Catalina (10.15) or later
How do I install Hola?
Just search for Hola app in the App Store or download it from here Link to Hola app in App Store
How do I start using the Hola app?
Open the Hola app from Application Launcher and click on the Hola icon. If you don't have an account, click on 'create a free account' and register with your email address.
How do I select a country?
- Open the Hola app
- Select the country you want to browse from
- The Hola app will automatically install the configuration.
Please note: If you receive the message 'Please enter your authentication information', use the one-time password popping out from the bottom of the app.
How do I turn on/off Hola?
Whenever you want to turn the service on or off, go to the Hola app and click on the switch in the center of the main screen.
How do I uninstall the Hola profile?
To uninstall the Hola profile, you need to uninstall the Hola app
How do I cancel my subscription
If subscribed through AppStore in-app purchases, MacOS Premium subscription is managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Follow Apple's guide here for details how to manage such subscriptions.
Please note:
- The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- If you wish to turn off auto-renewal, make sure to do it at least 24 hours before expiration or your account will be charged for another subscription period
- No refunds are allowed for subscription canceled during the active subscription period. Once canceled, the subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

If you face any problem with the app, please send us a bug report, and include as much of the following information as you can:
- Screenshots of the problem
- A brief description of the problem, and how to recreate it
- Which website(s) and/or app(s) are you having problems with?
- Your iTunes purchase invoice
Note: Quite often, restarting Hola Privacy App and making sure that you have Internet connectivity will solve your problem
